USSF ENTRY LEVEL Class for New Referees

Date: Fri., March 5, 2010     5:15 pm - 10:00 pm
          Sat., March 6, 2010     9:00 am - 5 pm
          Sun., March 7, 2010    1 pm - 5 pm

Where: Endwell Fire Station, Endwell, New York

You will need: A Pen, Pencil (yes- both!) and a Notebook. You will be given a lunch hour on Saturday.

Cost:    Add the proper totals below and voila!
            $35 for the class. ($20 if you have a Grade 9 badge)
            $40 for USSF Registration
            $5 for State Management Fee (if you meet the qualifications for a Grade 8 referee-see below)
            Local dues for your referee district (if you meet the qualifications for a Grade 8 referee-see below)
            $15.00 for referees that are in junior or senior high school
            $20.00 for all referees that are post high school

    Total cost: = From $75 up to $110 depending on the above information.

You will pass a 100 question test at the end of the class to demonstrate your readiness. Passing grade is 75%

To Register: Go online to Binghamton.wnyreferee.org (no www.) or wnyreferee.org and click the CLINICS link. Click on the registration link to register on-line. Registration will be complete after all on-line is completed and a check sent to the address:

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! I MUST HEAR FROM YOU BY February 25, 2010 IN ORDER TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE!

Grade 8 Referee can:
CENTER or AR on any USSF Affiliated Youth Game (If Age and Experience Appropriate)

ALSO-

Grade 9 Referee: If you will not be 14 by May 1st but will be 12 or 13, you too can take this class. The cost to you will be $75 and you will be given a grade 9 badge which will allow you to center any recreational match to U14, center any youth match U10 or below and be an AR on any match up to U14.

You must be 14 years old as of May 1, 2010 in order to take this class and graduate with a grade 8 badge - Grade 9 badge as stated above for 12 & 13 year olds.

Anyone taking this course that has a problem taking written test can have help, but we must know of this problem by Saturday, March 6 in order to arrange assistance on Sunday, March 7.
